I messaged him about a year ago on the forum when there were still some open spots here in RBSL. Not sure why he happen to have checked it recently since the league has long been dead. haha |

Nothing changes, other than instead of being on a waiting list (and potentially lose interest over time), they wait by being an assistant. Totally not my call though. |

I think it's a cool offer to the new (and old) GMs who want to be involved, I would not make it mandatory.

We're on the same page. If there's an opening, an assistant gets first dibs. No assistants, no need to be an assistant first. |
