Sonics are over the hard cap and were during the last sim, which means that their top scorer from last year, George Buckner, goes on waivers and available to the team with the worst record from last season.

Refer to hard cap rules for clarification, but the gyst is that the team "up" has up to 12 hours to claim him, so long as his addition does not cause that team to exceed the hard cap.

I dunno about on purpose, but im sure he isnt too upset about it.

This happened with me an JJ a while ago...blessing in disguise.

If I couldn't move him by the deadline CelticsGM was gonna kick up another $750 to buyout his contract.  Saves him some dough, and me the headache of trying to unload a guy nobody wants, but doesn't make much difference in the end.

Any team before them has a chance to claim George and get dibs on him by posting before Mavs does.
