You're commish and it's your say, so you think we should start taking stricter DC attendance so we can patch a spot up?
I review people's DC submissions every year. I'm not going to kick a guy out who's been in the league for 30 years for only posting 8 or 9 out of 12 DCs (when most everyone just writes "same" anyways). If there is significant under-attendance I will make a move. Just to be clear: I am not going to turn this into a witch hunt for everyone to publicly pick on people who've missed a few DCs and say "we have people on the waitlist, why not kick this guy out?" If you have a concern, please message me privately, don't post "omg the [team] only posted 5 DCs this year!"

Trade activity, posting frequency, writing articles, not messing up Sim 1 trades and DC's. All are probably more important than DC submissions. But sometimes lack of DC's is a sign that a GM has lost interest. This season, we've had two or three perfect submission sims already.

Good call on the leniency for long-time members here. Sometimes it is a one-season outlier.

It's never a good look to call people out. This isn't a job, it's fun. I'm sure the best decision will be made.

When you are in that downward spiral with no picks and no hope it's really tough.

Hey there guys. It's been awhile. I'll take any opening you guys have eventually. I'm willing to be an assistant gm as well. I think my 50 + seasons of GMing here in rbsl could come in handy.......miss you guys. Should never have left .

I won't lie when I say I'm pretty irritated. I was asked by Jeff a while back if Dan could come back as his aGM and I said that was fine, but I had some concerns about giving Dan another team when he had quit twice since I joined the league. Instead of discussing it, we just post to an open board offering to come back.
I know Nick has been itching to get out for a while, so, Dan can have the Clippers assuming Nick still wants to pull the trigger and bow out. That said, this league isn't something that people can just come into and out of as they like, leaving when they're bored with their team and picking it back up when they want a new team. If Dan wants to come back and be in it for the long haul, that's great, and we'd be happy to have him back. He's been a great GM and when he's invested, it's great to have him. I just really don't want to be looking for a new ClippersGM in 5 seasons.

Does AsstJazzGM have dibs on the Clippers first if they bow out, or no? Serious question.
Also, glad to have you back, Dan.

AsstJazzGM wants to stay with the Jazz for now. He and JazzGM are buds in real life and enjoy running a team together for now. It was his option but he turned it down.
