Blazers Get:
Ron Artest
David Lee

Pistons Get:
Terrence Aridge
Harrison Bowdler

I Accept

Easy to work with, a true gent, nice deal Pistons.

So i think we can make the playoffs now, pretty solid defensive team with our O, lets execute...be nice Ron

Pistons accept

Sad to see Ron-Ron go, but I felt I needed more balance in terms of age. Ron will definitely be retired by the Pistons.
TBD Done.

Terrible trade for the Blazers, trading a young stud in the making while he is rebuilding for and over the hill, soon to retire guy.

adversity, and hate, gotta love it

personally, i think its not as bad, Aridge is 26, he is a solid player, no doubt about it, but i think his chances at becoming a stud are aloft. He has some room to improve but i found him expendable with the contract. I end up with Artesr who is old but he can produce, he also gives me about 9-10 million to spend next year as well.

Just gotta hope aridge aint the stud people think he is, plus we have brewer behind....

I dunno. Time will tell. Aridge (who I know you are fond of Nick having drafted him) is a one-trick pony, and the trick ain't so great. He's overpaid, on the long deal, and Ron's expiring positions Blazers to maybe get in the FA market again next year.
I don't see a big advantage for either guy, myself.

I guess this deal is pending TC.

Right now it's looking like a bad trade for both teams. Blazers don't accomplish much, and as for the Pistons, the costs could definitely outweigh the benefits.  The East is now up for grabs…

I think all your good karma went towards the lottery. There was nothing left for free agency.  Cheesy
