Options Available:
1 - You can cut him without any penalty or salary staying on your roster
2 - You can sign him to a 1 year minimum contract with no bird rights
3 - You can sign him to a 2 year minimum contract with no bird rights
4 - You can sign him to a 3 year contract: 2 years at the minimum, 3rd year at $1.5mil with full 4-year bird rights
These are processed right before Sim One (not before the preseason sims). If you cut the player before the first sim of the new season (e.g., before free agency), his two-year contract will count as "cut salary". Remember, you get to see these guys through TC and PS - so you might as well check them out.....
If you do not post otherwise, his contract will stay as the drafted contract.
