Second trade I've made with Hawks. Last one was Rickson for Beal. Hoping that I end up with the same type of luck from this one.

Porter may be his 5th or 6th best player now.

He was my best, hands down.

My butt hurts

Lol. Porter should not be the best player on any team...or even top3

Exactly my point.

The East-West comparison just got a little more cringeworthy.

Ok dude, not top 3?

He's a guy who can put 15-20PPG on  ~1TOPG. All that while A defense and a very good rebounder for his position. To say he shouldn't be a third best player on a good team is ridiculous.

Never been a fan. Always thought an overrated player. OK, maybe 3rd best player on a good team.

The fact he only has 2 years left on that big contract makes it much easier to handle for ATL

It works out well - he'll be off the books right when Thamas and Dinwiddie are up for extensions.

Lou is a thinker. Gotta give him credit for that.

I don't ever make PMs public, but during our negotiations he sent me a pretty Jean Claude Van Damme-like quote, saying "I'm building up hard" and that night, he dropped his drawers and mooned us with the word Tony on his left cheek and Wilson on the other.

Had Porter for a bit. He's a good complimentary piece on a roster. Should never be a main focus offensively, but does the small things well. You know what you're going to get from him....decent amount of points, solid rebounder and strong defender.

Normally I'd agree, especially since I shipped him off so unceremoniously back in the day, but guy is emerging maybe - there's NOTHING to NOT like about his start this year.

I knew this was going to happen.

Also Thames leaves in FA you heard here first.

The only thing I will say is that his numbers may be a little inflated due to the fact he had such a huge role on my team; but needless to say, less than 1 TO in his many minutes is a bit telling to go along with his 7 RPG. His points will most definitely dip, but his shooting % may go up due to the number of increased quality shots he takes (thanks to the talent around him).

Good thing he's like the 5th best player on the hawks now

I make the same deal if porter is averaging 12ppg on your team. I didn't get him for his offense.

Wilson is restricted.  Hawks agrees to pay TPE for now, to be resolved with Warriors.
