Post by: WizardsGM on December 06, 2014, 12:53:14 PM
Washington Sends
Gabriell Garrett
Thomas Mitchell
Marvin Dial

Los Angeles Lakers Send:
Bryan Avery
LAL 2065 1st (top 7 protected, roles to 66 unprotected if need be).

I accept. Nice working with LA

Agreed.
First one we've done of any significance,  I think. Nice dealing, Wiz.
Fun fact, i projected to be over hard cap with Avery. Woops. Now not so much. Sets up an ok (for the West) prime-aged core of Cho n Malone n Garrett,  with some okay youth supporting and still tons of picks to play with. And if im still losing in '66, I might as well hang 'em up.

Plus, another okay option type allows me to find better ways to maximize Mr. Cho.

Interesting deal for both sides. Really bizarre to see Garrett and Avery swapped for each other twice in less than the equivalent of a full season.

I like Todd's play for relevancy in a super weak conference. Could really pay off for him if some things break right.

4 & 7, in a playoff spot, with an overhauled roster that's underperforming overall....why not?

Garrett better be the late bloomer I think he is, lol.

I had Garrett in 2056 and he was a young scrub with some potential, so I traded him. He is getting better gradually without a doubt. 16 & 12 is impressive with 2+ blocks.
