Here is how I break it down.
Stith is worth a pick at least by himself. Belov and Mottola is also worth another pick. He is competing. Gates for Parker and a pick. He is shrinking contract. But trading Whitehead, I don't get it.

It is seems a bit one-sided since Whitehead (2075 Drafted by the Rockets with pick #9 of round 1) is included.  That is my two cents.

In the context of the stale market we've got, it's probably an overpay. But the flip side is those picks will probably be bad (the last one is the hope for Brian - Daniels isn't signed for that year), and imo Whitehead is pretty meh. He was #9, yeah, but the CPU made that pick and he has really no potential in his ratings atm. You never know but he looks like a bench big right now.

You're undervaluing Stith, who just won player of the week.
Stith, to some, would fetch 2 1sts. He's young, efficient, and still has upside.

On an expiring contract, but if the Rockets extend with TBD then it is worth it. Plus you have to factor cohesion. Just because he is playing well, doesn't mean he will play that well on the new team. Paying 2 firsts for him is a stretch.  Not one I would embark on.

I'm trying to understand how someone so "new" (and his very 1st post) is this trade.

What do you we know about this guy, less than 1 day on the job and makes a "blockbuster" trade like this.

Those are my 2 cents.....

Idk, he messaged me on reddit and said he had fbb3 experience. Or maybe Brian is a criminal mastermind and is playing 4d chess while we're all playing checkers. Or not that.

Brian is pulling a Jesse. He now has 2 teams.

I suppose it's the only way to make trades around here, good on ya Brian.

When the market is dry, you find ways to..... make things happen........  ;)

But yeah I was a minute away from typing a retirement post last week.
Caring enough to do that would have definitely been a plot twist.

hi guys, sorry, wasn't trying to cause any problems. looking at the rockets i thought i should build around tracy daniels. lots of top heavy teams but we were already doing very well in the west so there is an opening there and picks were not going to be valuable as long as daniels was around.

No worries, you went for it and you should build around Daniels.  Not an awful trade.  Love new guys that are going to be active and go for it.  Just tough to rebuild now if you're wrong!

lol, don't listen to few that are picking apart your trade. If some of us copied and pasted the offers they've recently sent everyone, you'd ignore them too.

It's typically the guys that can't make an offer or execute a fair trade to save their lives, that do most of the yapping.
