Options Available: 1 - You can cut him without any penalty or salary staying on your roster 2 - You can sign him to a 1 year minimum contract with no bird rights 3 - You can sign him to a 2 year minimum contract with no bird rights 4 - You can sign him to a 3 year contract: 2 years at the minimum, 3rd year at $1.5mil with full 4-year bird rights Must be announced before Sim 1, or the player's contract defaults to Option 3. One-time option, at the 2-year mark. If you don't post otherwise, the contract is kept as is. It is for players currently in/ending their 2nd season of their first round rookie contract. I believe they're treated as regular contracts until the team-option after the 2-rookie years. |
