The Jazz are looking to pivot towards a new direction while still remaining a championship contender. That means, however, that there are several very good pieces that can be had for the right price.

Brad Hammer, Jamal Murray, Burt Smith, and Marqueese Chriss are all movable.

Hammer is an offensive star on a bargain contract - 11m per for 4 more years. He averages around 17ppg per 36 on a team where he is the 3rd or 4th option; his usage rate was fourth on the team. With a bigger scoring role he easily cracks 20 ppg on elite efficiency.

Murray is another offensive star, albeit a SUPERstar. The story is the same as Hammer's: elite efficiency, volume scoring, and obvious untapped production if given a larger role. Murray scored 20.5 ppg on thek kings on .600 TS% with a 24.2 usage rate. Given the man a bigger role and he will reward you.

Burt Smith, of course, is the defensive anchor. He still checks every single box you want from your center with elite marks in both offensive and defensive rebounding, post defense, and blocking. As a bonus he has amazing handling and passing for a center. He won't hurt you by losing cheap turnovers, and can even facilitate some ball movement from the post.

Finally, Marquesse Chriss would need a lot to move. He has big potentials left and is on one of the best value contracts in the league. He's already a top-flight rim protector and has the athleticism to play 3 through 5, as well as an incredibly varied offensive skillset that lets him do the same on the other end. Given a year or two he will become a knock down shooter. Kristaps Porzingas might honestly be his real-life NBA comparison.

Order of gettability goes: Smith, Hammer, Murray, Chriss. The goal here is to better balance the depth chart (lots of bigs as it stands), focus on defense, or find value to facilitate other moves that accomplish the prior two goals.
