Suns trade...
- Sergio Laettner
- $250 towards TPE to match salaries

Clippers trade...
- Garrett Marion
- Tyler Ennis
- Darian Battie
- Future Considerations: '64 1st round draft pick (Clippers) - Top 5 protected in '64, unprotected thereafter
- $250 towards TPE

Suns accept. Can't process until Day 51 due to restrictions on some of Nick's guys.

Accepted.

I could really regret this but am hoping that shoring up my front court a bit could inch me toward a playoff spot.

It took Darren and I 20 seasons to make our first trade. Both were too stubborn. Now we do it in two Sims as division rivals.

Awesome working with Nick. We could never get deals done way back when but I guess we've softened in our old age.  Cheesy

As I mentioned before, I'd hoped Laettner would be the first major building block toward a competitive roster, but after seeing how long it's going to take to get back where I want to be (thanks for trading all my 1sts, Dan!) I decided to cut bait. I adore Sergio's skillset, but it was the right thing to do.

Marion, Ennis, and that 1st give me three more nice pieces for my war chest moving forward. I'll probably look to flip Battie before the season's out.

Let the firesale (and march towards 0-82 in a year when I don't have my 1st) continue!

Same offer was on the table to a few teams for a big, no one else thought it was good enough.

I guess it depends if the other bigs were comparable

pretty fair trade.  Clips get a good starter for future 1st.  It all depends on where that 1st lands of course...
