Team bank notes to close out '65 as we enter '66....
*When =>25 DC's were submitted, I gave everyone a mulligan. DC submission was over 90% overall; 7 teams earned bonuses for 11 DC's and 17 teams got the bonus for submitting all 12. Well done.
*Magic were most improved
*There were 23 legitimate trades in the league....nice. 27 of them involving Lou....bit of a joke, but he was in on 13 of 'em...that's reloading, quick and decisive.
*Jazz and Wiz did a great job pumping out the articles...Magic and Raps entered the fray too.

Cut off the last two years of Sean Garrett's contract ($16,800,000 and $18,000,000).
Cut year 3 -- $18,000,000: $500 + ($75x13) = $1,475
Cut year 2 -- $16,800,000: $500 + ($75x12) = $1,400
Total TBD spent = $2,875
I think ur calculation is off by $125. You pay $500 once for the first 5mil, then $75/mil to the total after. Save your money. |

Cut year 3 -- $18,000,000: $500 + ($75x13) = $1,475

Truthfully we've never clarified the rule - the way Wiz did it is the way I intended the rule to work ($500 base for first $5m for EACH YEAR cut) but I think the way Todd did it is the way it's been enforced.
